easyFBT 2027 change log

September 2026 Release

The following changes and enhancements have been made in this release of easyFBT 2027 (2027.1.0.1):

Employees Workpaper

Added the Days Employed in FBT Year column to summarise the total days employed based on the relative entries in the Date First Employed and Date Last Employed columns.

Interactions Tracing

In the Interactions panels (Tools > Options > Interactions), the level of default tracing has been updated to Diagnostic as this provides a lot more specific information in relation to identifying any lodgement errors encountered.

Australian Business Number (ABN) display changes

In the Entity tab on the System Manager we are now showing the ABN in the About Entity summary for each entity. We are also now displaying the active entity's ABN after the entity name in all report headers instead of the TFN.

General changes

As with each FBT year, rates and other values are required to be updated. The following changes have been made for the 2027 FBT year:

• Updated the Car Parking public holidays table with the 2026/27 State/Territory gazetted public holidays;

• Updated CPI Indexation factors for Housing;

• Updated the Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA) country codes and rates;

• Updated Declarations for 2027 FBT year;

• Updated the Workpaper Column Help with some additional information; and

• Updated all components and packages used by easyFBT to the latest available versions.
